New Do

I promised some hair pictures, and here they are. I needed a change, so I decided to go blonde-ish. Mandy was sick of ponytails, so she decided to cut it all off. I LOVE that she had the guts to do that. I am a firm believer in hair-change-therapy, and I hope she now feels as fresh and rejuvenated as I do.

Everyone knows what my hair looked like before, so here are the after shots. I had one of those, "Is that really my nose?" moments after taking this picture. I wasn't going to post it - but then I realized, everyone has already seen it...I'm the only one in the dark!

Here are Mandy's before and after shots. I LOVE it, just love it!

The Best of Times

Forgive my absence, dear follower, but my handsome brother and his adorable wife were in town - so I had much better things to do than sit at my computer. Since Greg and Mandy are awesome photographers, they left me with some super cute pictures of my kiddos.

Over the past week we went on Cotton Candy walks, played softball, held Tetris Attack tournaments, ate at EVERY single restaurant, got addicted to Red Mango, went to St. George, played underwater mini-golf, rode go-karts, hit TWO arcades, spent hours and hours swimming, enjoyed diving board olympics, visited the closed gates of the Tuacahn Theatre, took tons of pictures, made MAJOR hair changes (I'll save that for another post) , and laughed till our bellies hurt.  Did I miss anything?

Oh....yes, I DID miss something. We also witnessed the picking of the biggest booger ever, courtesy of Madelyn.
Thanks again for coming out, you guys. We had such an amazing time - and can't wait until November.

Am I the only 80's born child that remembers this movie?

The funny thing is that as a kid this movie scared the living crap out of me.

The Kid Doesn't Learn...

This has to be (at least) the tenth time he's gotten the Dora potty stuck on his head.  He slips right into it, but for some reason - his head won't come out.  We have to shimmy it down the entire length of his body every single time.  And, yes, I realize what that says about his head.

Madelyn is always telling me that Jude is her best friend, and that when she grows up she's going to marry him.  Adorable.  But today, more than ever, I realized that Jude needs a brother. DESPERATELY.

Selfless

Whenever I say, "You guys had better be careful, somebody is  going to get hurt,"  Madelyn immediately volunteers , "Jude."

So sweet of her to always volunteer him first.
