Alone Again, Naturally.

Well, here I sit - my daughter asleep in the front room, and my husband on his way to the airport with one of his best friends. Granted, they are going on a business trip, but it just seems wrong that "business" includes going to Hawaii with your best friend. The VERY place that we went on our honeymoon. So for the few hours I have of alone time, I'm going to think about what I can do that is EQUALLY exciting. My mom is flying in to keep me company for the week that Rob is gone, and I'm sure many of you know, we are quite lethal when it comes to spending money. It's been a long time since my mom and I have had a full week to shop together. I'm open to shopping suggestions - and keep in mind, it is HAWAII!!

2006 BMW M3 coupe. Or, if you're on a budget, a 2000 BMW M5 (it'd make a better family car, anyway - four doors and all).

Melissa, didn't you always say you wanted a pony? Heck, get the whole darn farm!

Mary - I was thinking that maybe I should do what my dad originally talked about. Remember the "computers in every room" conversation - that eventually led to an elevator on the back of the house? And just think....we don't even have a second floor. Now THERE'S a fabulous waste of money!

Big screen TV, Tivo, DVDs, clothes, and I'm thinking Maddie is in need of some really cool clothes and maybe a puppy.

So Rob goes on business trips too huh? Tim's got an internship this summer and he was in Modesto last week and Denver this week. Maybe I'll have to look into getting my mom to come up and spend some money with (or on) me for a week. Oh, and I think new furniture is always a good way to spend some money :)

I agree with Ben. Don´t know what it is, but it sounds good and expensive.

have fun shopping with mom, but it sounds like it would have been less expensive for me just to send you to hawaii . . .
