Visit from G-Pa

My dad came out last weekend to see Madelyn and meet Jude for the first time. Good times had by all. Thanks for the visit Dad! Madelyn used to run to the front door yelling, "DADA!!" But today, she ran yelling, "G-PA!"

But it's okay - she was still excited to see Rob and show him all of the things she had placed in our bathroom sink.

How old is your dad, like 25?

The funny thing is that a couple of weeks ago, someone asked the EXACT same question about my mom. Lets just say that my parents have 6 kids, and the oldest is 32. I should PROBABLY mention that my dad is a plastic surgeon, and is botox certified. Not that that matters.

You can tell that Maddy likes your dad more than Rob. That must be hard for him. Look at how her eyes light up when she's with her grandpa. Rob has seemed a little down at work lately...

I can't believe my parent's haven't grounded me yet for my "plastic surgeon" remark. Maybe my dad really likes being thought of as one. Dad? Anything?

Ok Ok. My first instinct was to write in the old Kojak style - 52 and it's all natural baby. . . but that sounded just a bit too vain . . . so, i didn't. Then I thought that even if I was a plastic surgeon, I couldn't work on myself . . . so everyone had to realize that there is nothing I could do about this ugly mug ! Anyways you know that I actually have had one plastic surgery done on me (out of the seven). Like Dan says - "there are pieces of Dad in Petrie dishes spread all over the country!" ( so remember USE SUNSCREEN!)
So no, you aren't grounded . . . at least not this week. And even if I could ground you - what would that mean? that you had to stay at home all day? and live vicariously through your friends' blogs?
But seriously, thanks for a great time last weekend - it was really good to see everybody! I hope to get out there again real soon!
